Known for creating dynamic visual, written and multimedia content Julia Swanson is a Boston based photographer, writer and multimedia artist. Using her passion for innovation and communication she creates photography, writing and multimedia art to explore the human experience and tell the stories which connect us.
Published both in print and online her work has been featured in The Somerville Journal, The Boston Globe, Hollywood Life, Artscope and SciArt Magazine, and she was also the creator, producer and editor of the culture and innovation blog Four Letter Word. As a photographer and multimedia artist she has received multiple Honorary International Photography Awards and was the winner of the Karl Lagerfeld Dom Pérignon Photography Competition in 2006 for her series of digital images titled “Dom Pérignon Abstracts.”
With a Bachelors Degree in Spanish from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a Certificate in photography from the New England School of Photography, and a Masters degree in journalism from Northeastern University Julia has continued to evolve and currently works as a freelancer helping clients find creative solutions for all their digital and multimedia needs.
